The project is located in the Bas-Montreuil area on a dual-aspect, lengthways plot which connects Rue Cuvier with Rue de Lagny. In the heart of a district that is undergoing extensive development, the project forms part of a diverse townscape featuring office buildings to the west and industrial buildings to the east.

Designed by architects Hardel and Le Bihan, this new office building is structured around a pedestrian walkway which serves the various entrance halls and will ultimately join up with Rue Cuvier and Rue de Lagny. 

The restricted plot lends a comb-shaped design for the building, with the creation of patios where plants feature prominently, thereby creating green oases for both the building’s inhabitants and pedestrians.

The architectural design of the façade is simple, understated and elegant and makes the best use of light, leaving many of the constituent parts of the building’s wooden structure visible (floors, posts and beams).

With its wooden structure, the project will have a low carbon footprint and consume little energy. It has the four-fold aim of achieving HQE, BREEAM, WELL and EFFINATURE certifications.

Large, accessible terraces have been created on the top floor; the roof terrace will feature vegetable gardens, the harvest of which will be available to the building’s users and will encourage contact with the district’s residents.

A 70-space car park extending over the basement level will complete this building.
